From any encounters I’ve ever had with liberals the only understanding they acknowledge is when you agree with them. every thing else is met with hostility and personal insults. I guess when they can’t back up their arguments with facts they resort to insults.

I end up keeping silent in my interactions with my family.
With strangers, they assume I am a democrat, so when I say something conservative most of them agree with me until I mention that I am a Republican.
