So what is the name for when someone “godwins” the Founding Fathers?

There’s no formal name for it but I call it “I think I can tell you what the founding fathers would think because I’m a self righteous ass.” And honestly, he’s probably right but for all the wrong reasons, just because the founders would have a problem with something doesn’t mean it should be legalized. I mean many of the founders accepted the legality of slavery.
