Still consider it the best burger I’ve ever had and some of the best fries too. Really liked New Mexico. Beautiful and fun state. I shouldn’t gamble again though anytime soon.

There’s only one burger in Los Angeles that comes close to those marvels made in New Mexico and that’s Cassel’s at 6th/Normandie. They use a slanted broiler to grill their burgers to the peak of perfection and serve it with an incredible potato salad.
