These people need to register and vote in all elections. Our resurrection will have to begin on the local levels. If I get time this summer and fall, I may volunteer on the governor election here in VA.

Pretty much everyone here is already registered to vote. (Nebraska has one of the highest voter turnouts in the nation thanks to mail voting.) That said, this area is overwhelmingly Republican, so the task at hand is to educate people here on what our party stands for. Tough, since the media here pretty much ignores us.

I still have my letter to the editor pen handy though.
