That’s what I’m saying though. They’re more rabidly anti-gay than the old guard because they have no other choice. If they intend to get votes with an R next to their name, they have to be rabidly anti-gay, because that’s who the R base is. And that’s why the party will collapse, because that can’t be sustained, yet they cannot change because to do so is to lose the R vote.
