It’s going to take a lot more than 13 years for all the people with an emotional attachment to having their own car to die off.

I thought the same thing, though in one of the articles I read about Tony Seba’s research, they theorized that urban areas would ban that type of car outright due to safety reasons (i.e. self-driving vehicles proving superior to human drivers).
