I am almost at a loss for words. How stupid do you have to be to think a bison might freeze to death in May? These creatures have evolved for eons to handle the harsh climate of the region. If you aren’t freezing to death, a bison, even a baby, sure as hell isn’t.

When the story was reported on our local TV news, after the part about it being illegal and incredibly stupid, one of the news readers (couldn’t possibly have qualified as an actual reporter, I hope) said something along the lines of “Awww, but at least their hearts were in the right place.” Person who had presented the story basically responded, “Umm, no.”
