Mattis is the person in the best position to keep the tiny-fingered vulgarian’s hands off the nuclear launch codes. Assuming Mattis is even marginally sane/competent, it’s probably better that he stay.

Every indication I’m aware of is that Mattis is exceptionally sane and competent. He may be our only hope of surviving the next four years.
