There are so many things I don’t get about Soylent.
First, why would you name a product for something that was, fictionally, made of people? That just seems like a bad marketing strategy.
Second, while I get cooking isn’t for everyone (I enjoy it), is drinking a smoothie really a better experience than eating actual food? Are there people who would prefer a smoothie to prime rib? Or whatever the vegetarian alternative is to prime rib?
Third, isn’t there value in taking a bit of time to actually eat a meal rather than drink a smoothie?
I just don’t get it.
