I had a close call, when on an enforced company outing in the Texas countryside, when a co-worker offered me a brownie he had brought along. We waited awhile for the effects, and had a second one because we were hungry. It started coming on when everyone was called inside because it was beginning to sprinkle, and the boss had the great idea to divide up into teams and play charades. The two of us floated out to the back of the crowd and escaped for a long hike in the rain, otherwise we would certainly have died a certain corporate death.
