With the temps in Houston today risen to a balmy 43 degrees after a day of rain and night of snow (!) I decided to warm up the innards with a dinner of macaroni and cheese with bacon and chilis and home-made minestrone. Add toasted English muffins and dessert of pumpkin pie tarts. Soup is simmering now and my house smells sooo yummy.
