Iirc correctly, Dick’s was the first major chain to drop “modern sporting rifles” (AR-15 type paramilitary semi-autos) after Sandy Hook. Worth noting that they do still sell guns, but no semi-auto center-fire types. We can expect NRA cultists to go ballistic (perhaps literally) over Dick’s latest position. They have several stores in the Metroplex. I might drop by for my next ammo purchase.
