I remain convinced that Donny will quit before he allows himself to be removed from office. His ego would never survive being dethroned, particularly if it is due to a criminal indictment. No, if he feels that he stands a good chance of being convicted, he’ll cut and run while insisting to all that he remains a “winner.”

Or, we’ll find out if the entire GOP caucus is willing to go all the way and end democratic rule to gain and maintain their grasp on power. Conservatism throughout the ages, in all places, has justified the use of any means to gain and maintain power.
