It was inevitable. Remember that Sotomayor got shit for her nomination because she had the audacity to not pronounce her own name in the ‘American’ way, and that was supposed to be disqualifying. And we still hear shit about how she’s supposedly the ‘dumbest person on the Bench’ with the clear implication that she only got there because ‘duh huh Affirmative Action hire’.
