I’m almost ashamed to admit it, but I’m actually enjoying watching Paul’s swan dive into irrelevance.

And I’m not overly upset about the lunatics he’s taking with him. They be around in another incarnation, of course. For them, it’s about the spotlight and not substance.

Ron Paul is sorta going both ways at once

if he were a band, he’d be the band with the cult following who fills clubs for decades because of the notorious word of mouth and never gets on the radio or sells a lot of records.

but his ideas aren’t going away, he has a kid who’s a senator who’s young, cute, and repeats the psycho orthodoxy word for word. RP will live to 90 and Rand Paul will be running for president the way Buchanan did, going nowhere but always extracting a living
