My prediction is that they will double down on stupid, further isolate themselves and focus state / local where in many states their ground game is creaming the Dems. If the Democrats ever hope to regain the house they are going to have to do a lot better with local candidates in Southern states — three demographic directions are opening a window of opportunity for them wide: Ageing Republican base, more retirees heading south, and the fact that urban to rural migrations are reversing.

Roy “10 Commandments” Moore was elected to Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court yesterday. There are no Democrats holding statewide elected office. The House and Senate are GOP-dominated.
