What does it matter that nobody said he was? I’m not getting why that’s somehow important. It was pretty obvious that that was what could be racist in the phrase.

And again, a defense of someone that they’re not racist, they’re just denying reality, really isn’t a defense. Especially when that same person then calls Buchanan a racist asshole.
