I agree with you, criticism of Carter* says a lot more about the critic than Carter himself. Regardless of your religious or political beliefs, Jimmy Carter should be a role model and an example of a life well-lived.

* Here, I mean Carter the man. I think there are legitimate criticisms of his presidency.
