You said it better then I could of. It’s fun to crack wise about insignificant things, but it should not get too snarky. Obama, is of partly African decent, the proverb is pretty wise, and the gift was from his home continent.
The fact that he did not toss it in a closet might mean he agrees with the proverb. I’m not saying his base should rush out and buy one though, that’s just weird.

But, you know there’s a good chunk of Dear Leader’s followers that will, simply because DL has one….
