Since the Republicans can no longer frame it as a false choice between insurance for kids and protecting the Dreamers, yeah, maybe. He should at least be willing to try. Instead he’s acting like a scalded dog.

Now it just becomes a false choice between Dreamers and:
1. Paying the military
2. Making sure SS continues to go out.
3. Paying Medicare
4. Making CHIP payments.
