Well, this bit:

Is still digging, to me, though sideways. That seems like they’re saying controversy is something to be avoided, rather than something that’s goddamn inevitable.
You give money to Planned Parenthood, there will be controversy. You stop giving it, there will be controversy. That’s not the fault of the organization. What’s important isn’t avoiding controversy, but making the right decisions, no matter if they cause controversy.
