Don’t cry —just stop having lunch with her or make sure you have a way home so you can drink lots of wine with lunch.

I have a “friend” who has major issues with me owning a gun. She is a liberal and was upset that I laughed at Earth hour. She also believes every bit of drivel that comes out of Gore’s mouth -

My blood pressure stays in the normal range when we don’t get together.

I’m afraid I will not be able to get out of my head the fact that she thinks it’s perfectly acceptable for gov’t to intrude when it’s done “for your own good” (as defined, of course, by somebody else). She literally shrugged her shoulders.

I’ve got to quit now, or I will bore everyone with the idiocy I heard. I am just so sad.
