What a thug.

While Delta can’t just uproot and move to a different airport (infrastructure takes time to build), I imagine they could uproot their corporate headquarters pretty quickly, and possibly distribute flights the way they used to be done (regional hubs) and take them out of Georgia if they really want to do that.

On the other hand, the tax break on fuel they lost they might consider to be simply not worth fighting over. While aviation fuel is pretty expensive, it’s not the only cost of operating an airline.

Jeff Bezos on the other hand might seriously consider scratching Georgia off his list. If he does, I hope he loudly announces Amazon doesn’t bow to conservative extortion.
