True story…when I was young and REALLY stupid, I was asked in one of my first college classes to write an essay about who was more pro-woman: Phyllis Schaffley or Betty Friedan. As I was raised by wing-nuts, I assumed Phyllis as she believed in a woman’s place in the home, family, etc. and Friedan was talking about the workplace, and other such nonsense… Okay…this is more embarrassing than I remember. I’m going to go hang my head in shame now.

That’s ok, I was raised by moonbats. And yet, my mom, who is almost as old as Betty Friedan, said she’d vote for ANY woman over any man, yes—even Schlafly. I think it was my first political argument with her.
