In a recent survey of righty bloggers, Carter was named “worst figure in American history.” Not just worst prez or pol, but worst person.

Maybe someone here can explain this in terms even more precise and measured than “fuckwad extraordinaire.”

OK. The economy crated while he was in office, he let the Sandanistas come to power in Nicaragua, he let Khomeini slap our faces in Iran and he let the military go into such steep decline that the rescue attempt in Iran ended in disaster.
