Everything he did sounds like what goes on with the more annoying boys in my daughters’ 8th grade class. If you don’t have adolescent kids, you might not know that it’s now ordinary for a boy to go up to some well-endowed girl and say, “If you’ll send me a picture of your boobs, I’ll send you one of my penis.” Not condoned by the school authorities, mind you, but ordinary. Even my highly non-flirtatious, geeky daughter has been fed that line. She knows girls who go for it, too.

In 8th grade, this gets you suspended if you are caught.
In Congress, you apparently issue an abject apology and try to move on.

Weiner’s one of the Gen Xer politicians, a sign of things to come. Trust me, it’s all downhill from here.
