Yes, politics seems to intrude on many things, and vice versa.

I’ve gotta admit though that the idea of a staunch anti-Islamist presenting a show for one of the propaganda arms of the Islamic Republic of Iran strikes me as seriously strange.

It would sort of be like a stanch defender of democracy, free speech, and freedom of the press doing a show for RT.

It causes more than a little cognitive dissonance.
