I’ve read today that, when asked, both Reince Priebus and Mitch McConnell have said they, and institutions they lead, will be staying out of whether Cruz is a natural born citizen. Considering that in 2008 the Senate unanimously confirmed that McCain was natural born, it seems that a lot of people want to make it as hard as possible on Cruz.
