I grew up a city kid around Chicago and remember our first family vacation to Mesa Verde, CO, and being blown away by the the abundance of stars in the night sky.

My joking aside, I had the same experience moving from the NYC area to Wyoming. It was the first time I saw the Milky Way with my own eyes.
