I think we’re looking at about a third of the country’s adults who simply have so much invested in being a conservative republican that there’s no way in hell they can be reached. They’re also heavily invested in being angry and mean over shit that doesn’t exist.

I understand why my older brother is so anti-government: we grew up (and he still lives) in one of the worst-governed areas of the country, Northwest Indiana.

Corruption and incompetence as far as the eye can see.

But that is corruption and incompetence that goes hand in hand with corruption and incompetence in industry and business, he fails to see that side of it.
