Plus, baseball diamonds are not uniform. They’re all built differently with weird twists. Fenway Park (where this catch took place at) is one of the oldest surviving ballparks, and it has features not found anywhere else. (To wit, Progressive Field in Cleveland has a mini version of the “Green Monster” center field wall.)

Big part of why game 7 last fall was the only baseball game I’ve watched in a decade or so and that only for the history of it. As for the game itself? … well, I’ll let those who enjoy it, have at it :)
