You know, I have no idea why it is that wealthy liberals refuse to buy (and then back to succeed) liberal media. Air America fell flat on it’s face because of stupid decisions and a lack of capital. Current TV was sold, just as it was starting to gain some momentum, to Al Jazzerra and is was ran into the ground. Then we have this Impeach Trump guy buying ads and putting up billboards (in Times Square, which is not reaching the people who need convincing) If these rich people are so smart, then why the lack of investment? I’ve heard liberal media won’t make money. If that’s true then why is it liberal talk stations, which were doing well, get bought up, converted to sports talk and then die? WE NEED MEDIA INFRASTRUCTURE. If we had it, we’d probably see some new talent come forward. Podcasts and web based stuff is fine, but it’s not enough. Why can’t we use the right’s business model for our purposes? Why can’t we have the liberal equivalent of wingnut welfare?
