Every single time I see a Depends (or the like) commercial, I wonder how many days before that becomes my future.

All the old folks commercials and google ads and such…just depresses the hell out of me.

Sometimes I wonder if the ads are not there to create the market for the products, by convincing the viewers that they’re getting old and might as well succumb to the inevitable.

FWIW neither of my parents needed Depends. Dad lived to 76 and Mom to 80. Not every old has a retention problem.
