I woke up at about 3 this morning. Matilda the cat shit on the floor and stunk up the house then proceeded to run around knocking things over and noisily scratching on cardboard boxes.
On the bright side there’s a very beautiful sunrise this morning and I’ll have a satisfying nap this afternoon.

I had exactly the same experience a few years ago, except it was my mother-in-law and not a cat.
