Rick Santorum. He has all but admitted that he has given up seirous hope of 2012 and is looking towards 2016.

If he seriously becomes the guy who is next in line and the next “inevitable” nominee, I won’t know whether to laugh or cry. At that point, the GOP might as well give up any pretense of being a functioning political party.
