Letter to the Editor: No fairy tale

Last Modified: 4/28/2012 3:51 AMThe April 8 article, “A universe seemingly without purpose,” by cosmologist Lawrence M. Krauss, was an interesting read and included names of Charles Darwin and Albert Einstein and many cosmic terms, such as single galaxy, Milky Way, Big Bang theory, empty space, cosmos, the Large Hadron Collider, cosmic accident, the Higgs Fields, general relativity, quantum mechanics, gravity, multiverse, particle physics, dynamics of empty space, etc.
The article concluded by asking, does all this prove that our universe and the laws that govern it rose spontaneously without divine guidance or purpose? The article’s answer was no, but possible. Of course the clear answer is: Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God created the heavens (plural) and the Earth (singular). Doesn’t sound like a fairy tale to me.
