It never occurred to me to behave like that. Never.

Saying “they were never taught” absolves such men of being responsible for their own actions. I don’t believe I ever met a parent that would allow a male child to make remarks or be grabby with women (or anyone) without a rebuke.

I don’t stand for that sort of conversation around me either.

I’m not absolving them of their responsibilities. They are adults. But I’m of the camp that there are just some things that need to be taught, because it really isn’t obvious to everyone.
