I’m old enough to remember that Republican voters hated Bill Clinton for not serving in Vietnam. But at least Clinton never tried to sleeping around to Vietnam.

Bill Clinton made efforts to avoid Vietnam because he thought the whole war was a bad idea. He didn’t think anyone should be sent.

Mitt Romney made efforts to avoid Vietnam, even though he thought it was such a great idea he organized pro-draft rallies on campus.
