Also, skimming over that 538 map, I see that AZ is really the only race on the board where he makes it anything like a real “tossup” - every other state seems to have its “chances” rated no less than 66-34 (either way) with many blowouts - fortunately for Mrs. Clinton, mainly small-EV states.
The Dem campaign putting money into Arizona makes sense: Texas, not so much. Yes, its 38 EVs would make a nice prize - or more accurately, a tasty frosting on the victory cake - but I have a feeling Nate’s assessment of Clinton’s chances there (14.8%) is going to be sadly accurate.
