I don’t think you’re getting me. I know the what. What I’m distressed about is the how. In a truly ideal world, Trump is beaten in a landslide, hell in a truly ideal world, Trump gets laughed out of the GOP primaries as a creepy son of a bitch who offers nothing but empty bullshit.

there was a lot of thought that the world was going in a particular direction
clinton would win - we all “knew it” because how could he possibly?
there would be cooperation on the world stage
domestically there would be health insurance and other social programs ensuring “liberty and justice for all”
recognition of marriage equality, eschewing discriminatory cake bakers and on and on

not only did we get a republican
we got a miserable excuse for a human being
ignorant, full of hate and in it mostly for what he can skim for himself and family
he’s surrounding himself with some truly despicable people and letting them run wild

then congress abdicated
and the media is doing, - who the hell even knows

perfect storm, trifecta, whatever
