Yeah, technically HFCS is slightly sweeter than cane sugar so theoretically you can use less of it, not that that ever happens. There really is minimal difference in the way the body metabolizes HFCS vs cane sugar though, so equal calories of each will get you just as fat.

*EDIT: There is a distinct flavor difference though. I prefer cane sugar myself.
