Robert has decided that Fjordman, Gates of Vienna, and Brussels Journal are wonderful people, and he's gotten over his initial revulsion at the thought of making alliances with the Vlaams Belang.

You know what I could never stand about Spencer? It's that he condemns all Muslims with the same brush, and offers them no solution other than to leave Islam. As a result, Spencer can never be the guy people turn to for a solution. True, he applies pressure on the Muslim community, and so he is useful, such as he is, but ultimately, reading about militant Islam 24/7/365 is intellectually stultifying and I fundamentally mistrust a guy who thinks it is singularly fascinating.

I mean, I get it. Militant Islam bad. Bomb terrorists, check. Don't talk to dictators, check. Palestinians don't deserve a state, yo comprendo. Can I read my history books now? Can I go work out? Am I allowed to go on a date? Is going to work OK?

What's more are his stupid histories which cannot satisfy anyone who reads good history regularly. He does a paste-up job with historical facts, selectively using the most convenient ones, to make retarded points like "the Jews under Islam were always worse off than under Christendom" or "the Crusades were totally awesome, dude" and other simplistic horseshit. This is the kind of historiography that Karl Marx loved, and is still beloved by shitty academic ideologues who murder and resurrect history to suit their purposes.

That, and now he supports a marriage of convenience with Vlaams.
