Yeah, and that’s what comes out of the back end at every startup. My mechanic says that it’s typical of GM V6 engines- they run forever, but they have a laundry list of weird antics that drive you crazy until you realize that it’s not affecting their performance or damaging the engine.

My next vehicle (G-d and my bank balance willing) is going to be a reasonably fuel-efficient, automatic-transmission, non- GM, and probably imported 4x4. I’ve always driven domestics, but I’m about to swear off them. Permanently.

/Toyotas and Volvos are looking better to me every day.
My dad has a Popular Mechanics issue from the 50’s that says my next car will be Nuclear..
