I think we’re saying the same thing. Yes, we are not Russia. It — Obama’s socialism — won’t last long because it is so contrary to American tradition. Just like prohibition (good analogy), it produced an underground/black market economy, and once it ended, that economy emerged into legitimacy. But there was, and still is, a criminal class that was created as a result.

I would agree with you except for one thing. It is much easier to squeeze the toothpaste out of the tube than it is to put it back. Obama currently has a boulder resting on the tube of toothpaste called our economy and toothpaste is spraying all over the place. Sure we could fix it all and have some semblance of order, but at what cost to us?
