The police officer on the left has an ACPD on his helmet. I believe that stands for Arlington County (Virginia) Police Department. As I understand it, Arlington County pulled their officers out of DC last night and abrogated the mutual assistance agreement with DC because of the Lafayette Park fiasco.

Yes they did. The County did not appreciate them being used as thugs.
The actions of some of the officers might belay that thought.
