There is more than one issue here. If we’re talking about “Should something be done to prevent AIG bonuses?” that is different than talking about “Did AIG bigshots run the company into the ground?”
I do not see the difference actually, generally, one gets a bonus for doing a good job. A bonus is money above and beyond slary, hence the word bonus.
Money that is cleary intended to save a company is something that goes to operations - not bonuses above the cost of operations. Please tell me how it is possible that this is not seen as robbery.
