It’s clear as day that it’s only being done because Republicans are sick of losing states that they were once able to win.

They’re sick of losing those states but they fail to understand WHY they’re losing. The GOP is shrinking and becoming a regional white party. Mitt Romney lost with every single demographic group across the board. If the Republicans don’t start embracing ideas and people that are something other than white Southern evangelical Christians, they’re going to become irrelevant in just a few more election cycles.

They know this, but at the same time they think it’s as simple as rigging the Electoral College in their favor. After all, if the rules are stacked in your favor who cares if your ideas suck?
