re: #563 Cerran

I know quite a lot about history, enough to know that Jim Crow laws were the primary instrument in preventing integration in many areas especially the south. It’s no accident that areas with no Jim Crow laws had integration and were moving away from racism.

I have no respect for racists and think they are immoral bastards and I would not frequent their business, however it is their right to be racists.

Where would you draw the line in the fantasy of yours? Do you believe it would be within the right of a business owner to:

1. Deny blacks (or any other minority) access to a private ambulance?
2. Deny blacks (or any other minority) access to emergency medical treatment in a private medical clinic?
3. Deny blacks (or any other minority) access to private medical treatment?

There can be many more example. Say you have a black family living in a small community. Are you telling me the only private medical provider should be allowed to discriminate forcing them to drive 100s of miles to get treatment?
