re: #565 ggt

Does anyone ever stop and wonder why people can’t get jobs —could it be that we’ve reached a critical mass —we have too many people?

I haven’t done the research on this, but I don’t see how we can keep creating jobs when the population is growing.

I heard that when “Obama get’s his tyranny” he’ll start controlling population levels …

Well, it will have to happen somehow, someway —better Individual Choice —no?

heh :)

There’s no such thing as too many people in my humble opinion. As long as population is growing, the economy grows. We’ve never tried (intentionally anyway) shrinking population. We’ll see how that turns out in the immigration averse, low birthrate countries of Europe and East Asia. Turns out raising kids takes a lot of work—from diapers to daycare, a good birthrate helps drive the economy. I’d me more concerned about a decreasing population than an increasing one—and on that note, can we increase the quotas for legal immigration in this country already?
