I didn’t really need a new card, but saw that there’s a SanDisk Extreme 32 GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-1 Flash Memory Card 80MB/s (SDSDXS-032G-AFFP) for $32. That’s better than 50% off.

It’ll make for faster shooting, and reduce the bottleneck when shooting in burst mode - as well as faster uploads to the computer.

Then again, there’s now a 70D out, which has wifi built in, so you can shoot direct to the cloud or other devices. It has a touch screen too (though I’m not as sold on that since it seems to be real easy to activate if you’re holding your face up to the viewfinder to shoot.

My brother picked one up and wifi and touch screen are the big changes. There’s some minor changes to AF over the 60D, but there’s nothing that warrants yet another upgrade.

I’m going to stick with this camera for a good while to come.
